Programming – Heedicalking
A world is only so fun to look at. The scripting is what adds the adventure. Powerful abilities, engaging boss fights, and ancient secrets all need to be properly implemented to convey a sense of wonder. Optimization is also key as we aim to have potentially hundreds of players engaging in massive battles together. For Crystal Spire I am programming the backend, client, and content. For the gallery images I put together the attack scripts, effects, camera, and lighting.


Modeling – Amir
As a modeler, it’s my job to create the assets needed for our environments. Balancing visual fidelity with performance is important for letting everyone have a smooth experience. Each floor and dungeon has been thoroughly optimized in terms of polycount and texture so it can look good without disrupting frame rates. For the gallery images I worked on the landscape, structures and the Stone Golem model


Animating – Kyro
When animating, it’s up to me to bring static meshes to life. There will be a whole host of monsters and combat styles that will need animating for Crystal Spire. I strive to create animations that net a sense of satisfaction to combat, crafting, and travel. I animated the Stone Golem in the gallery videos.
